In Trouble in Tahiti, Leonard Bernstein (West Side Story and On The Town) explores the sounds of Hollywood and Broadway while satirising a troubled marriage against the all-prevalent backdrop of the American dream. The opera will be preceded by songs from the popular Great American Songbook.

Starring five fantastic NHO Artists and conducted by Artistic Director Nicholas Chalmers, this production of Leonard Bernstein's first opera promises to be very special. The opera will be preceded by a short recital of songs from the popular Great American Songbook, and the whole performance will last one hour without an interval. Further details about the cast and creative team will be shared very shortly.                                                                                                  Performances of Trouble in Tahiti will take place on the 27 November at 5pm and 7pm and on the 28 November at 4pm and 6pm.
